Our setting will educate children and help them form strong bonds with others as they grow. Early years education is a hugely important stage for your child's learning and here at Crag Bank Under 5's a really fun one too!

Here with us your child will mainly learn through play based activities. They will learn routine and develop early literacy and maths skills, learn about the world around them and develop social skills, to make their transition to primary school a smooth one.

Importance of play is important. Your child will begin to learn by trying new things for themselves, by explaining and investigating, watching and listening, talking, creating and communicating.

Our extensive, all weather outdoor play area is a vast experience for your child. It can be learning with sand, water, mud, paint etc, walking on ice, puddles, leaves or exploring and climbing in out tree house.

​

Your child will follow the EYFS Early Years Foundation Stage and cover the seven areas of learning before school.
